SELAMAT, KAK PATRICIA. SALAH SATU PENERIMA PROGRAM TOKYO METROPOLITAN BOARD OF EDUCATION

Kudus, Jum’at 19 Desember 2025, telah dilaksanakan wawancara dengan salah seorang siswa penerima program pertukaran pelajar dari Direktorat SMK bekerja sama dengan Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education 2025.

Narasumber dalam wawancara ini adalah Kak Patricia Laura Vannisi, siswi kelas 12 jurusan Animasi 2D. Program tersebut merupakan pertukaran pelajar Indonesia dan Jepang. Di mana pelajar dari kedua negara bertukar pengalaman belajar serta mengenal budaya masing-masing, baik melalui kegiatan di sekolah maupun tempat wisata.

Kak Patricia menjelaskan bahwa ia pertama kali mendapatkan informasi mengenai program tersebut secara tidak sengaja. Kak Patricia menyampaikan bahwa program tersebut bukan hanya program dari Direktorat SMK, melainkan juga dari Pemerintah Jepang

When Patricia first arrived in Japan, she’s surprised by the fact that Japan is not so different from what we saw through the media that most of us know like Anime or J-drama. She was also surprised by the residents in Japan that were quieter than she had imagined. In Japan, Patricia visited a lot of places such as the Cat Shrine, Tokyo Tower, Asakusa, Noh Theatre, many stores and the most important one is visiting the Tachibana Highschool for 4 days. Over there, Patricia did a lot of fun activities such as metal working, making glass ornaments, pottery, calligraphy, origami and many more

When asked how Patricia felt about being selected to participate, she still can’t believe that she was chosen from among the many students who registered to take part in this program. Initially, she only filled out the form because she was just messing around and curious. And when she was informed that she was selected to participate, she was shocked beyond belief.

A message from Patricia is that if we get the opportunity to participate in a lucrative program, we should try to participate in it. There’s no need to be hesitant or afraid of being accepted or not; the most important thing is that we tried. An opportunity like this might not come around twice.
